This tour is essential for anyone looking to acquire an understanding of the former republics of Yugoslavia and it's people. With an immense depth of knowledge and anecdotes, Mateja provides a fascinating insight into the workings of Yugoslav society. I have been on several tours of a similar nature in other former Yugoslav republics however this tour, informative and engaging, was by far the best.

Mateja was an outstanding guide! She gave us a 2 hour private tour of downtown Ljubjiana, there were six in our group. Her English is excellent and she is very engaging and easy to understand. She is passionate about Slovenia and shared both the history of the city, as well as the history of the country. I highly recommend her!
