We had a fabulous afternoon with Mateja: she spent exactly the right amount of time explaining things (too much and things get boring; too little and you feel you could have done things on your own), picked lovely places to taste food, and gave us numerous tips on what to do in the time we had left in and around Ljubljana. We are very grateful for both the lovely afternoon and the tailor-made programme she suggested. In short, Mateja is the perfect guide!

Thanks again for such a great tour, the food was so good I couldn’t just eat anything for dinner so I went up to the castle for a nice meal. What a great day of food, the best of my trip so far!
