A trademark of Slovenian tourism

Lake Bled with its picturesque island, the medieval castle on the cliff and surrounded by Julian Alps is admired as a paradise. A visit of the castle, a ride by pletna boat and tasting of cream cake along the lakeside are a must.  The rest you can adjust: one the way back to Ljubljana we can stop in a picturesque mediaeval town Radovljica.

A suggestion for a full day tour:

Those ones who like to discover the land of milk and honey, will enjoy further- 30 minutes ride to Bohinj Lake. Even Agatha Christie, who was a regular visitor, could not imagine a murder in this beautiful homeland of Slovenian Gold horn.  Here we could: hike to Waterfall Savica or go by cable car to mount Vogel or visit a traditional village Studor.

With a help of private guide/driver you have a chance to get the best of your day and to find out even more “off the beaten path” stories!
