    Who is your trainer:<\/strong>
    Mateja Kregar Gliha<\/strong>, is a Slovenian entrepreneur, tourist guide, destination consultant,
    and PhD student specializing in innovative tourism. She holds degrees in Economics and
    History, having completed her initial studies in 1991 at the Faculty of Tourism and
    Hospitality Management, University of Rijeka. Her professional and academic journey led
    her to Switzerland, the USA, and Australia, where she specialized in sustainable tourism
    at Swinburne University in 1994.  Upon returning to Slovenia, Mateja embarked on a
    career as a freelance professional. She has developed numerous thematic tours in
    Ljubljana, including explorations of pioneering women, the Protestant era, the economic
    boom of the late 19th century, Baroque Ljubljana and Ljubljana Food Tour. Between
    2020 and 2021, she created and hosted the television series \u201cSpoznajmo glavno mesto\u201d
    (\u201cLet\u2019s Get to Know the Capital\u201d) on TV Ljubljana.  As an accredited international trainer
    (WFTGA), Mateja contributes to the development of training programs for online guided tours. She is the president of the Association of Regional Tourist Guides of Slovenia and
    has co-authored the book \u201cPravlji\u010dna in literarna Ljubljana\u201d (\u201cFairytale and Literary
    Ljubljana\u201d). In 2023, she earned her beekeeping license and joined the Ljubljana
    Beekeeping Association in 2024.  She is a guest presenter at Zippa marketing Live
    Streaming Monday's Tourism Clinic contact program. Currently, Mateja is pursuing her
    PhD at the Faculty of Tourism in Bre\u017eice, University of Maribor, focusing on innovative
    approaches in tourism, particularly online guided experiences and literary tourism.
